Held in conjunction with Watershed's SOFA Chicago Special Exhibition November 4-6 at
Navy Pier's Festival Hall.

Watershed is honoring four artists whose contributions to the
field of ceramic art have influenced two generations of artists,
collectors, and students. Ceramic works from Honorees Val Cushing,
Richard Shaw, & Patti Warashina will be featured, in addition
to a collection of Ceramic Artist Photographs by Honoree, Paul
J. Smith.
Gretchen Keyworth, Director Emerita, Fuller Craft Museum, will moderate the SOFA
Lecture Series panel discussion with the honorees, What Makes a LEGEND a Legend?
Friday, November 4 - 11:00am-12:00 noon ROOM 324.
David East, Chair of Ceramics, Maryland Institute College
of Art, is the author for Watershed's 2011 SOFA Catalog Essay:
