Ways To Support Watershed

When you make a gift to Watershed, you directly support time and space for artists to create, innovate and connect. Two-thirds of Watershed’s annual expenses are covered by registration fees, grants, and fundraising events, but we rely on your support to sustain our programs. We welcome gifts of any amount.

Named in honor of Watershed’s founder, Margaret M. Griggs, the Griggs Circle recognizes donors who have made a three-year commitment to Watershed at annual levels of $1,500 to $25,000. These sustaining gifts provide Watershed with a critical revenue stream. Watershed’s Executive Director, Fran Rudoff, welcomes the opportunity to talk with you about the benefits of joining the Griggs Circle or arranging planned gifts. Please contact her at frudoff@watershedceramics.org or (207) 882-6075.

Watershed provides awards of financial assistance to almost half of all artists who attend our summer and fall residency programs annually. These scholarship awards are funded by generous individual donors interested in sponsoring an artist’s residency.

Watershed maintains an active online wish list (via Amazon.com) from which supporters can order and contribute. We are also happy to talk with you about donations of gently used items you might be willing to donate.  You can also designate Watershed as your Amazon Smile beneficiary and support the Center while you shop online.

If you’d like to make a contribution by check, please note what you’d like your funds to support in the memo line and mail it to us at the following address:
