Join us for Salad Days as a VIP! This special pass gives you insider access to celebratory events on Friday July 8 and all the festivities on July 9. Perks include first choice of Salad Days plates, an exclusive look at the new studio with Watershed’s founders, an evening cocktail reception, and an art auction featuring work by Kathy Butterly, Beth Katleman, Polly Apfelbaum and many others. Pass purchases for this fundraising event support Watershed’s artist and ceramic programs.

Pass Perks & Details

Each $150 VIP pass entitles one passholder to a handmade ceramic plate by Grace Tessein, the Salad Days brunch, and all access to Watershed’s Salad Days celebration on July 8 and 9. Special VIP events include: 

  • Project M exhibition in the Barkan Gallery: View Watershed’s summer group show featuring work by members of The Color Network. 
  • First choice of Salad Days plates: VIP guests select their plates a day early! Each pass includes one plate. Additional plates may be purchased online with your pass.
  • Founders Tour of the Windgate Studio: Learn about Watershed’s history and visit our sparkling new ceramics studio during a tour led by Watershed co-founders Lynn Duryea, Chris Gustin, and George Mason. 
  • Evening Reception & Live Auction: Mingle with Watershed’s trustees, founders, and resident artists while enjoying cocktails and light fare featuring seasonal Maine ingredients under a shady tent. Artist and former Watershed Board President Matt Nolen and writer and Show Director Greg Triggs will co-emcee the live art auction. Available work will include pieces by Polly Apfelbaum with Gregg Moore, Kathy Butterly, Paul Briggs, Sin-ying Ho, Karen Karnes Beth Katleman, Adam Silverman, Peter Volkous, Betty Woodman and many others.

Please note that Watershed requires masks to be worn when indoors during the studio tour and while viewing the exhibition. The rest of the events are outside and do not require masking. You can view our full event Health and Safety Policy on the main Salad Days page. 

VIP Event Schedule

Friday, July 8

3:00 pm: Arrive & tour the Project M exhibition in Watershed’s Barkan Gallery, located at 103 Cochran Road, Edgecomb, ME.
3:30 pm: Select Salad Days Plates
4:00 pm: Tour the Windgate Studio with Watershed’s founders
5:00 pm: Cocktail reception
5:30 pm: Live art auction
7:00 pm: Depart Watershed for the evening

Saturday, July 9

11:00 am – 2:00 pm:  Salad Days! VIP guests receive a complimentary brunch ticket and enjoy artist demos, shop  the pottery sale, win a new piece in the reverse raffle, and more. The full Salad Days event schedule and information can be found here.
